Arthur’s Seat

Arthur’s Seat – – > (swipe for sunset colors)

Near the center of Edinburgh stands Arthur’s Seat, the remnants from the ancient volcano which formed the unique geology of Edinburgh. Star and I hiked around on its bluffs for a several hours as the sun set (we didn’t reach the top, but had enchanting views of Edinburgh in the twilight).

Edinburgh’s famous castle is another part of this extinct volcano. It last erupted around 300 million years ago.
