Eastern Sierras ‘26

I kicked off this summer with a Juneteenth drive to Owen’s Valley, scoping out the East side of the Sierras and exploring the White Mountains.

I passed that way again in August, spending nine days backpacking from Horseshoe Meadows to Onion Valley, over Forester Pass.

These shots are all in the Eastern Sierras from those two trips, where the rocky spine of the range dramatically rises from the valley floor.

I likely won’t get to pass that way again this year. Until next season, mis montañas!
