Nearly forgot to share one of my favorite stops in New Zealand: the Hobbiton movie set. It’s still beautifully maintained, with guides who clearly love the place as much as the fans do.
We wandered the winding paths of the Shire, sipped ale at the Green Dragon Inn as the sun dipped behind the hills, then ended the evening with a Hobbit-worthy feast and a lantern-lit stroll out of the village. Pure magic.
