My daughter has decided to use quarantine to learn how to play her favorite songs on the ukulele. She’s taught herself all the major, minor, and diminished chords and is already way better than me on the instrument. The ukulele was much less intimidating that our guitar for the children to pick up since it’s so much smaller and approachable.
Both daughters worked together on “Everything is Awesome” and they proudly performed for me (including the rap in the middle). Honestly it was the most kick-ass thing that has happened during shelter in place.
