Things Got Weird

We went to catch the Weird Al performance in San Francisco last week. It was his “Rediculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour”, which meant he played all originals (except for the end where he played a medley of Amish Paradise, Word Crimes, and a handful of other parodies). It was a fun show, filled with obscure songs none of us knew.

As we filed out after the show a couple gave us their VIP tickets, saying they had to leave but we were welcome to use them to go backstage and meet Weird Al. Of course we accepted!

Corrie and I went back into the auditorium and got to meet Weird Al and have him sign our poster. The only catch was that we were required to use the names which were on our name tags, so Weird Al met “Michael” and “Claudia”. I wouldn’t want it any other way!
